Where necessary we can provide a full digital template service to discover the exact size and shape of your well opening although in the vast majority of cases we simply measure the tightest internal diameter (for circular wells) or the tightest rectangle of best fit (for square openings).
We tend to marginally over hang the edge of the steel support frame over the tightest size of the hole giving a perfectly square or circular sight line to the top of the well.

Custom Design
Each and every well cover is drawn from scratch on CAD design software with support frame and glass each produced to mm accuracy by CNC processing.
Support & Advice
From help taking the correct measurements during the quotation stage through to liaising with ground workers and building inspectors on site we will guide you every step of the journey.
Proof drawings with detailed dimensions provided prior to fabrication for approval purposes. Comprehensive drawings supplied for use by ground workers / DIY installations ensuring preparations are made correctly for frame installation.
All Shapes & Sizes
We can make well covers to almost any size and shape. Larger openings may require a higher specification glass. Usually the vast majority of well covers that we produce are circular, semi circular and rectangular.
Hydrophobic Coating
All of our well covers are coated on the underside with a Ritec easy clean hydrophobic treatment leaving the glass not only simple to clean but also benefits from added resistance to condensation. Ventilation is always recommended.
Painted & Sandblasted Borders
A painted border to any width and RAL colour can be added to all of our well covers and obscures the frame beneath the glass. As our walk on glass is produced using layers of toughened glass laminated together we paint an internal surface encapsulating and protecting the painted surface inside.
Alternatively a sandblasted border can be etched onto the top surface of the glass offering a small degree of anti slip protection to the edge of the glass along with obscuring the frame from above.

As most of our customers opt for a supply only DIY kit service we regularly ship full systems to the four corners of the British Isles using a combination of our own delivery vans and trusted courier services. We can of course provide a full survey and installation service throughout the UK.
